Well I cant put this post off any longer. Im missing a few "treating" shots but Ill have to post those later..
WHAT A WEEK/WEEKEND!! The girls had their double doc appt on Thursday.. Just so happened Ashlee's 6 mos and Madison's 2 yr fell at the same time. Ashlee is doing GREAT and weighing in at about 18 lbs & 28" long!! and in this corner Madison is weighing in at 32lbs and 34" long!! She has a few new words and is really blossoming!! After their doc appt we went to the Pumpkin Patch. Madison went nuts! She wanted to hold ALL the pumpkins and barely slowed down to smile for my camera!
Friday nite we went to Mickey & Minnie's Halloween Party in Cooper City and the girl had a BALL! They got to play with Mickey & Minnie, decorate their own cupcakes, eat a TON of junk and play with a bunch of other kids...Madison was in HEAVEN! Saturday morning we woke up with the birthday girl, made her a special breakfast, played outside on the slide and carved our Pumpkin. She was fascinated by all the "gunk" that came out of it but did NOT want to touch! :) We had the BRILLIANT idea to cut out 2 leg holes and stick Ashlee inside because, well, Whats cuter than that?? I tried to get Madison to get in also but it was NOT happening. After we cleaned up and the girls napped we headed down to Ft. Lauderdale for America's Backyard's Boo-gie Bash! It was adorable and Nana came too. They had craft stations for the kids, refreshments, contests, dancing and trick or treating! Since it was 1000 degrees outside, the girls did not wear their costumes and instead wore their Dolphin Cheerleader outfits. Kinda sucked because they were SO CUTE but hey, they would have died in the heat!
When nite fell it was time to get all gussied up and go collect our candy! Madison wore her Pirate costume and we went "treating" with some friends. The girls were SOO cute and held hands...Madison LOVED the whole idea and it didnt take long for her to "get it"... except she wanted to go inside everyone's house. It was hysterical. She would knock on the door, put down her bucket, and when the door opened she would try to make her entrance. It was her 1st year "walking" around because last year we pushed her in the stroller. She did AWESOME!! I think Nana & Daddy ate their weight in candy on our walk! All in all it was a nice day and Madison had a nice birthday!!

On Sunday it DID NOT slow down. We had 2, count them.. 1-2 birthday parties to go to...1 at Rainforest Cafe and 1 at TY Park... Ashlee stayed home with Daddy and Madison and I went. She had a wonderful time and is just getting SO "grown up"...She has barely ANY fear...She loves the big, tall slides. The bigger, the better. She goes all the way up by herself and slides down and back again. She cant get enough!
It was a very busy weekend but every moment was a memory!!
